Sausage Making Class
Ready to take your cooking skills to the next level? Chef Ian is opening up his recipe book to teach the art of making sausages! You'll be hands on in the Liberty Bistro kitchen cutting, grinding and making sausages in this upcoming class. We'll cover everything you need to make sausages at home safely including:
Food Safety & Equipment Overview
Ingredients and what all goes into it
Seasoning by weight for exact flavors
Grinding for just the right texture
Modifying recipes to create your own
Making links and other shapes of sausages.
And lots of fun!
This 3 hour long class is beginner level into sausage making and is intended for all skill levels but we do ask that you are comfortable cutting meats, washing dishes and cleaning.
The cost is $100 per person. Limited to 8 students only. We will make 3 different pork sausage flavors, Breakfast, Cumberland and a Spicy Chorizo.
** Students are required to obtain a Food Handlers Permit from the Skagit County Health Department prior to the event day.
